It's been a fast moving summer, and a hot one! But fortunately, I'm a Jersey Girl, and a "Jersey Shore Girl." We made our way to the beach a few times so far, not enough, and I so regret not buying a house at the shore -- uh, with the exception of Storm Sandy!
I've been buy working with an agency in Princeton doing a few web editing and build projects, and started a volunteer professional service job for a Mercer County non-profit organization.
My dizziness is still with me. I believed it was getting better but with the heat wave, the "motion dizziness" or lack of equilibrium has affected me. I had a "vertigo-like" spell in the ocean water yesterday! Guided by my hubby, Jim, I walked into the low ocean holding his hand. A breaking wave came and, naturally, I jumped up and looked right (towards the beach) to avoid getting water up my nose. Suddenly, my vision blurred, and I felt dizzy and started falling forward, down into the water -- feeling very heavy! I screamed and my husband had me, thankfully -- and I was done. I am beyond crying about this -- I am tired of this. I go to another, new neurologist in a week for a fresh analysis. I pray this is curable. I know my brain surgery last November started this, and the neuro-surgeon hasn't helped find the cause. But I don't know what happened except I think something was cut that shouldn't have been. When I get these spells, my right ankle feels weak and bends out -- causing me to walk imbalanced. Something isn't right. It's ruining my life and my marriage -- no biking, no roller coasters, no flying, no long walks -- I'm very distraught but still determined to get better!
